OAKLAND, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific volleyball team picked up its second straight victory, as the Sunbirds swept Holy Names on Saturday in PacWest play. Set scores were 25-17, 25-21 and 25-16 in favor of the Sunbirds at Tobin Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds used one of their better offensive performances of the season to earn the sweep, as FPU hit above .200 in all three sets.
• After taking a 2-0 lead, the 'Birds put the pedal down to earn the sweep and hit .344 in the final frame.
STATS OF THE GAME:

Malerie Crenshaw paced the attack for the Sunbirds, as the senior totaled 14 kills on .417 hitting.

Tiff Wong added nine kills for FPU, while
Kylei Dewar finished with seven and
Caroline Bodziak totaled six on .417 hitting.
Greta Dobenecker dished out 27 assists, while
Hannah Miller amassed 22 digs and four aces.
• FPU finished with a team attack percentage of .256, while the Hawks countered at .112.
• Maddy Standley and Sierra Allen finished with eight kills apiece for HNU.
BEYOND THE BOX:
• FPU's .256 attack percentage was its fourth highest of the season.
• Miller's 22 digs matched a career best.
• Crenshaw has now amassed double-digit kills in three straight games and has 11 such games on the year.
• The Sunbirds earned a season-sweep of the Hawks, as FPU previously defeated HNU 3-0 on Oct. 5.
