HAYWARD, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's soccer team picked up a PacWest Conference win on Monday afternoon, besting Holy Names 4-1 on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds once again came out aggressive, scoring the first goal of the afternoon just eight minutes into the game.
• FPU added a goal before the half ended, carrying a 2-0 lead into the intermission.
• The Sunbirds got two scores in the first 12 minutes of the second half to go on top 4-0, marking their biggest lead of the season to date.
• Holy Names was able to get on the board in the 73rd minute, but Fresno Pacific was still able to cruise to their second consecutive league victory.

Rachel Anderson found the net for the third time this season after an assist from
Alexis Macias.

Alyssa Kincade teamed up with
Whitney Snow, who fired to the far post to give the Sunbirds a 2-0 lead.

Anissia Gonzalez took a free kick on the left side of the box, allowing Snow to head in her second score of the day.

Paige Jano padded the lead even further with her first score of the season after an assist from
Hannah Strong.
• (72:15) As the FPU keeper came out of the net, Ashley Settles slowly rolled a ball into the back of the net to prevent the Hawks from being shutout.
STATS OF THE GAME:
• FPU outshot their guests 25-4, including a slim edge of 4-3 in shots on frame.

Hannah Hathaway made a pair of saves in her collegiate debut between the posts, while Alyssa Lopez' nine saves fell just one short of her season-high.
• The Sunbirds took the only two corner kicks of the match.
BEYOND THE BOX:
• The Blue and Orange have now outscored opponents 6-1 in their last two matches.
• Monday's victory matched the highest-scoring total of the season for Fresno Pacific.
• Settles became the fifth Hawk to record a goal this season, while Jano became the 11th Sunbird to find the back of the net.
• Snow's two goals now tie her with Gonzalez and
Mariah Montoya for the team lead in that category.
