FPU Women to Play Pair of PacWest Matches

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's soccer team looks to pick up two league victories this week, traveling to Notre Dame de Namur on Wednesday before hosting Biola on Saturday evening.

About Fresno Pacific (2-5-1, 2-1-0 PacWest)
• After starting conference action with back-to-back wins, the Sunbirds fell 3-1 against Concordia in their only contest last week.
• The Sunbirds have been attack-minded this fall, as eight different players have already found the net through the first eight games.
• With one more clean sheet, senior goalkeeper Summer Hammond will tie Audrey Hadden (2002-04) and Catherine Michaelis (2008-11) for third on the program's all-time list.

• After opening PacWest play 2-0 with wins over Academy of Art and Holy Names, the Argos have dropped each of their last two contests.
• Away from their home pitch, NDNU posted a record of 2-8-1 last season. So far this year, the Argos are 1-3-0 on the road.
• The Argos are second in the league with 25 goals, and NDNU claims three of the top four individual scorers.

About Biola (6-1-0, 2-1-0 PacWest)
• Biola joined the PacWest Conference this season after three straight trips to the postseason as a member of the NAIA's Golden State Athletic Conference.
• Eight players have recorded a goal this fall, and the Eagles have scored 14 as team, ranking them fourth in the PacWest.
• Goalkeeper Christina Rodriguez has faced 104 shots, racking up a 29-8 ratio of saves to goals.
