FPU Heads to Hawai’i for Crucial Final Week

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's soccer team will wrap up the regular season this week, playing three games in six days in the Aloha State.

About Fresno Pacific (8-6-1, 8-2-0 PacWest)
• The Sunbirds enter this week in third place in the PacWest Conference, but three wins and a CBU loss or draw would give FPU its first ever league championship.
• Fresno Pacific defeated Dixie State for the first time in program history on Thursday night, with Mariah Montoya's penalty kick in the 72nd minute holding up as the lone score. The victory gave the Blue and Orange their sixth straight victory, the longest win streak in program history.
• Senior goalkeeper Summer Hammond is now tied for second all the school's all-time list with 10 career shutouts.
