FPU Women’s Soccer Welcomes ARTU, APU This Week

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's soccer team is set for two games this week, hosting Academy of Art on Thursday before a home clash with Azusa Pacific on Saturday evening.

Quotable
"Our two opponents this week are two very different programs and pose difficult challenges. Academy of Art, a very difficult team to play against, and they will be well-prepared to come in here and play us. We must stay focused and keep to our game. Azusa Pacific is a program that is historically one of the top teams in the conference and region every year. We have enjoyed some big wins this year and have met some big challenges, but this will be our biggest challenge so far this season. These games have a tremendous meaning on many levels, so it will be an exciting week for Sunbird women's soccer." – head coach Rob Podeyn
