Fresno Pacific crumbled in the second half as Dixie State overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to hand the Sunbirds a 56-51 loss. FPU led 25-17 at halftime after outscoring the Red Storm 15-3 in the second quarter, but DSU stormed back behind 16 second-half points from all-conference center Taylor Mann.
The Sunbirds (5-20, 3-16 PacWest) were outscored 18-7 in the third quarter but made things interesting down the stretch, cutting the DSU lead from 11 to five in the final 1:30.
Megan Lee led FPU with nine points off the bench.

Daeja Gilmer added eight points apiece, with Gilmer pulling down seven rebounds.
Hannah Ramirez grabbed a team-high eight rebounds for the Sunbirds.
Mann led the Red Storm with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Ashlee Burge added 14 points and 11 rebounds as DSU improved to 8-17 overall, 8-11 in PacWest play.
DSU out-rebounded the Sunbirds 43-35 and out-shot FPU 38% to 33%. The teams combined for 46 turnovers, 23 committed by the Red Storm.
The Sunbirds conclude the 2015-16 season this Saturday at home, hosting Dominican at 2:30 pm.
