FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Pacific dropped its fourth-straight match on Friday, as visiting Chaminade swept the Sunbirds in straight sets at the Special Events Center. Set scores were 25-23, 25-21 and 26-24 in favor of the Silverswords.

FPU falls to 8-13 overall and 6-11 in the PacWest with the setback, while CUH moves to 15-11 overall and 9-8 in league play.

The Sunbirds played well offensively throughout the evening, hitting .277 as a team. It marked the second highest output on the season, but CUH countered at a clip of .314. The Silverswords only committed 10 errors in the match.

Karah Mitchell led FPU with a game-high 15 kills and 11 digs, which marked her fifth straight double-double.
Montana Lowe put down 13 kills on .500 hitting and freshman
Hailey Hilvers totaled seven kills on .500 hitting. Lowe and Hilvers added two blocks apiece.Â
Bissie DenHartog dished out a game-high 44 assists and
Chelsea Speaks added a game-high 15 digs.

CUH won the battle at the net with nine team blocks compared to FPU's four. The Silverswords benefitted from seven service aces.

Emma Tecklenburg led Chaminade with 10 kills and four aces, while Kim Spring added eight kills and 10 digs.
