HILO, Hawaii – Karah Mitchell put down a match-high 19 kills, but Fresno Pacific was swept at Hawai'i Hilo on Saturday in PacWest play. Set scores were 25-22, 25-17 and 25-23 in favor of the Vulcans.

FPU falls to 5-9 overall and 3-7 in league action with the setback, while UHH moves to 6-8 overall and 4-5 in the PacWest.

Mitchell led the Sunbirds offensively on the night with her 19 kills, as the senior finished with a hitting percentage of .368.
Bissie DenHartog recorded a double-double of 33 assists and 12 digs, while
Hailey Hilvers added six kills and three blocks.
Christina Tran added a co-team high 12 digs.

The Sunbirds were held to .143 hitting as a team on the night, while the Vulcans finished at a clip of .248. After dropping the opening set, FPU was held to .029 hitting in the second before being edged in the third and final set. Â

Marley Strand-Nicolaisen led the Vulcans with 14 kills and 10 digs, while Haylee Roberts added 13 kills. Sienna Davis totaled 34 assists.
