Fresno Pacific made quick work of last-place Holy Names on Saturday as the Sunbirds snapped a four-match losing streak. Gabriela Macedo had 13 kills, Carley Bock added 11 and Morghan Williams finished with 10 as all three hit above .300.

Hannah Butler posted a team-high 15 digs and Sarah McCann added 10 as the Sunbirds held HNU to an .021 attack percentage. Williams and McCann led the blocking game with four apiece. Bissie DenHartog dished out 39 assists in the win as FPU hit .283.

After falling behind 2-0 to start set one, the Sunbirds went on a 10-0 run to set the tone for the rest of the match. HNU led for the majority of set two, but after the Sunbirds pulled out the win, they carried the momentum into set three and cruised to a quick victory.

The Sunbirds improved to 5-12, 5-7 in PacWest play while the Hawks dropped to 2-19, 0-12 in the PacWest.

FPU is back in action next Thursday at Academy of Art.
