Box Score 2 SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -  FPU defeated its third consecutive GNAC team at the PacWest/GNAC Crossover Classic on Friday with a quick sweep of Western Oregon after defeating Montana State Billings 3-1 earlier in the day.
Fresno Pacific def. Western Oregon 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-13)The Sunbirds (5-3) held the Wolves to an .040 attack percentage and had little trouble establishing a well balanced attack. 
Rupia Inck had 10 kills while 
Kathleen Anderson (.571) and 
Morghan Williams (.438) had nine apiece.
"We're executing better, passing better and adjusting better as the match goes on," said head coach 
Kelly Winter. "Our middles are doing a really good job of being available and getting big swings. Hannah's doing a really good job of digging balls as well."
Hannah Butler led the defense with 16 digs and 
Bissie DenHartog facilitated the offense with 34 assists.
FPU concludes the tournament tomorrow facing the tourney's other undefeated team, Seattle Pacific, at 12:30 pm.

Rupia Inck had 18 kills while 
Morghan Williams had 16 kills on a team-high .520 attack percentage. 
Kathleen Anderson added 10 kills and a season-high nine blocks while hitting .409. 
Rebecca Waller added 13 kills in the win.
"I'm pleased with our performance overall, particularly on offense," said Winter. "We have a number of small things, such as basic ballhandling errors, that we need to correct. At times today, we made volleyball a lot more difficult than it needs to be, but I was pleased with the way our hitters found their rhythm and with the way we played defensively."
Hannah Butler led FPU with 20 digs, 
Toni Murphy had 13 and Inck added 10. 
Sarah McCann dished out 54 assists.
Chelsey Walter had 19 kills to lead the Yellowjackets (5-2). FPU held MSUB to a .158 attack percentage on the night.
The Sunbirds were one point away from having to go to a fifth set, down 24-23 in set four before Williams tied it up and Inck gave the team the lead with an ace. The Yellowjackets proceeded to tie it up but back-to-back kills by Waller and Anderson sealed it for FPU.
