As a Senior (2016) - PacWest Player of the Week (10/31)....CoSida Academic All-District.

As a Junior (2015) - PacWest Player of the Week (10/5)....PacWest Scholar-Athlete....Academic All-PacWest....appeared in 25 matches, making 24 starts at setter....led the team with 895 assists (9.84 per set)....led the team in services aces with 17 and had the lowest ace-to-error ratio....posted 34 kills and a .299 attack percentage....also had 247 digs (2.71 per set) and 21 blocks....posted 12 double-doubles on the season and recorded 40 or more assists 14 times....recorded season-high 59 assists to go with 12 digs and four kills vs. Dixie State (10/21)....posted 54 assists, 12 digs and three kills vs. Notre Dame de Namur (10/1)....had 53 assists, 20 digs and three kills in a win over Dominican (10/10)....recorded 48 assists, 16 digs, four kills and three aces in an upset-victory over Dixie State (11/21)....recipient of the FPU Athletics "Scholar of the Year" award after the season.

As a Sophomore (2014) - Appeared in 24 matches, making 19 starts at setter....led the team with 625 assists (6.94 per set) and added 187 digs (2.1 per set)....also totaled 10 kills and a .316 attack percentage....recorded six double-doubles....posted season-high 19 digs in win over Cal State Monterey Bay (9/5)....posted 43 assists and 11 digs in win over San Francisco State (9/9)....had 32 assists and 17 digs against nationally-ranked BYU Hawaii (10/1)....had 39 assists in win over Dominican (11/6)....earned PacWest Scholar-Athlete honors.

As a Freshman (2013) - Played her way into the starting lineup as a freshman, appearing in 26 matches and making 23 starts at setter....led the team with 987 assists....also contributed 214 digs and 22 blocks....was named PacWest Freshman of the Week (11/19)....posted nine double-doubles on the season and recorded 40 or more assists 12 times....had a season-high 64 assists in win over nationally-ranked Cal State San Bernardino....dished out 55 assists in win at Hawaii Pacific....had 53 assists and 13 digs vs. Cal Poly Pomona....posted a season-high 20 digs, to go with 48 assists, at Dixie State....maintained a 4.0 GPA and earned PacWest Scholar-Athlete honors....was recipient of the FPU Athletics "Freshman of the Year" award after the season.

Prior to FPU - Played four seasons at Buchanan High School, including three on the varsity team for coach Marian Battles....earned TRAC volleyball co-player of the year honors as a senior while being named team MVP and Fresno Bee All-Star.....won the Buchanan "Bear" award as a senior....was team captain for two seasons....played on one of the region's top club teams, Central Cal Volleyball Club.....also starred on the basketball team where she was team captain and two-time defensive MVP....also played softball.....was a valedictorian and garnered numerous academic awards.

Personal - Parents are Marshall and Denise DenHartog....has three sisters, Deanna, Corinne, and Christa....her mother Denise (Ainley) played volleyball and basketball at FPU and was inducted into the FPU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1992....person she most admires is her grandmother, Marge Ainley....favorite food is all fruit....favorite movie is White Christmas....favorite song is Rachel Belman's "Believe"....favorite athlete is FPU volleyball alum Brittany Henderson....attends People's Church....person she would most like to meet is Julie Andrews.....friend on another D2 volleyball team is JamieAnn Bero of Cal State L.A......hobbies include watching movies, basket-weaving and reading her Bible....loves drinking Dutch Brothers coffee....Bissie is a business management major.
