As a Junior (2013) - Played in all 27 matches for the Sunbirds, earning NCCAA First Team All-American, NCCAA All-West Region and First Team All-PacWest honors....led the PacWest in kills (435) and finished second in the league in kills per set (4.22)....finished second on the team in service aces (32), attack percentage (.249) and digs (253), and was third in blocks (59)....posted nine double-doubles on the season including a spectacular 28-kill, 13-dig performance in a win over nationally-ranked Cal State San Bernardino....signature moment of her season came at Hawaii Pacific, where she put the team on her back with 30 kills on 66 attacks, hitting above .300 and recording 19 digs in a five-set road win....had 25 kills in season finale win over Cal Baptist.

As a Sophomore (2012) - Started 31 matches for the Sunbirds, earning NCCAA First Team All-American, NCCAA West Region Player of the Year, First Team All-PacWest and team co-Offensive Player of the Year honors....led the team with 431 kills (3.88 k/s)....was second on the team with 72 total blocks and third with 275 digs....finished the year with a .239 attack percentage....posted double-figure kills in 26 of the 31 matches she played in....had 12 double-doubles on the season....posted 25 kills and 16 digs at Fresno State (9/25)....had 24 kills in win at Cal Baptist (11/2)....had 23 kills and 10 digs vs. PacWest champ BYU-Hawaii (10/30)...posted 23 kills on .400 hitting in win at Notre Dame de Namur (11/9)....had 16 kills to just one error for a .500 attack percentage in win at Dominican (9/29)....had season-high 21 digs to go with 17 kills in win over San Francisco State (9/2)....had 19 digs and 19 kills in win at Hawaii Pacific (9/2)....posted 20 kills and 18 digs in win at Azusa Pacific (9/21).

Prior to FPU - Sat out 2011 season at FPU as a redshirt after transferring from NAIA Oklahoma Baptist University....played one season at OBU, earning 2nd team All-American honors, 1st team All-Sooner Athletic Conference honors and Sooner Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year.....led the Bison with 553 kills (4.0 k/s) and was second on the team with 477 digs (3.5 d/s) while posting a .214 attack percentage.

Personal - Parents are Miguel and Janete....has two siblings, Claus and Jamaiara....chose FPU for its volleyball program and location....favorite food is anything her dad cooks....the people she admires most are her parents....favorite book is Lone Survivor....enoys watching Grey's Anatomy....favorite band is Coldplay....favorite athlete is Rafael Nadal....favorite team is the Brazilian men's volleyball olympic team....person she'd most like to meet is the Dalai Lama....Rupia is a psychology major who would like to continue playing volleyball after graduation.
