FPU Athletics Introduces Live Video Broadcasts

FPU Video Broadcast Homepage

Fresno Pacific University has partnered with Stretch Internet to stream live video broadcasts of FPU sporting events over the Internet. For the first time ever, all home volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball games will be broadcasted live, providing fans with an easily accessible way to stay up to speed with Sunbird Athletics in the comfort of their own homes.

The first broadcast will be Saturday, October 1st, as the Fresno Pacific volleyball team takes on Concordia in a battle of top NAIA volleyball programs. The events will be pay-per-view with fans having the option of purchasing single-game passes, sport-specific season passes or an FPU All-Sports pass.

The rest of the volleyball season (8 games), including FPU's November 17 match with Fresno State, is available for 30 dollars. Season passes for women's basketball (13 games) and men's basketball (15 games) are priced at 50 dollars and 60 dollars respectively. The FPU All-Sports Pass, which gives the user access to all FPU broadcasted events, is priced at 80 dollars, giving fans a discount from the $6.95 single-game price. Events can be watched on virtually every platform - personal computers, tablets, iPhone and other mobile devices that support Flash 10.1 or greater.

The broadcasts will feature professional talent and high-quality streaming technology to provide fans with a first-class presentation. Video broadcasts can be accessed through the FPU Athletics website on the events calendar on the right side of the home page (A "Live Video" link will appear on home gamedays). The broadcasts can also be accessed directly at this link:
