Cal Tech was no match for Fresno Pacific on Saturday as Mateja Maksimovic, Brian Xicotencatl, Glenn Lyon and Connor Greene scored three goals apiece. Jacob Cross played the final three quarters for the Sunbirds in goal, making five saves.

The Sunbirds played well but suffered another close loss, this time against the number one ranked team in NCAA Division III, Pomona-Pitzer. Maksimovic scored five goals to pace the Sunbirds but the team couldn't make up the difference. The Sunbirds are now 8-17 on the season.
