Fresno Pacific played an NCAA Division I team down to the wire before falling 11-10 to Iona. The Sunbirds then made quick work of NCAA Division II Gannon 14-4.

Glenn Lyon scored five goals in the first game and Jake Finney made five saves, but the Sunbirds once again fell just a goal short of a victory.

Nick Fadden led the team in the second game, scoring four times to lead the Sunbirds past Gannon. Olly Gibb added two goals in the win as 10 different players scored for the Sunbirds.
