Jake Finney made 20 saves, many of them of the point-blank variety, and Mateja Maksimovic totaled six goals as FPU split its games on the final day of the Lancer Invitational.

FPU began the day with a very strong showing against a top NCAA Division III opponent, knocking off Occidental 13-7. In the second game, the Sunbirds played well against one of the nation's top 10 teams, but fell 12-5 to Concordia.

Nick Fadden and Trevor Kolb ended the day with three goals apiece.

The Sunbirds (6-13) will play West Valley College and Merced College on Wednesday in Merced.
