Fresno Pacific can clinch the GSAC title outright with a win on Saturday over second-place Cal Baptist (27-4, 14-3 GSAC) in the NAIA Match of the Week. The #5 Lancers come in having won six straight GSAC games since falling at Azusa Pacific on October 14.

FPU has won its last two against high-ranking GSAC opponents after being defeated by Texas-Brownsville last weekend.

In the first meeting between the two teams on October 2nd, the Sunbirds got off to a slow start by edging out CBU in the first set 31-29, then dropping set two 25-16. FPU rebounded to capture the last two sets 25-19 and 25-16.

Martina Gregusova had 19 kills and Mariah Mandelbaum 25 digs in that win.

FPU has won 10 in a row against the Lancers.
