Jimmy Guzman was promoted to Director of Sports Medicine in 2024. He joined the FPU staff as a Graduate Assistant for Sports Medicine in the summer of 2016 and signed on as the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine in 2018.
The Visalia native received his A.A. and A.S. degrees in Kinesiology/Athletic Training from College of the Sequoias in 2014. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Fresno State University in 2016 and Master of Arts degree in Athletic Training from Fresno Pacific University in 2018.
Guzman is trained in movement analysis via Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certifications and Dry Needling, along with a variety of injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation skills.
To balance his work, Guzman enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, dog, family and friends.
