Central Valley broadcaster Eric Bentley has been FPU’s Facilities and Event Operations Coordinator since 2022.  Bentley has been FPU's in-house broadcaster since 2016, and currently is the voice of Sunbirds volleyball, non-conference basketball, and select baseball games.

The Hanford native graduated from Fresno State with a BA in Mass Communication & Journalism, and a minor in Music.

While at Fresno State, Bentley was a video coordinator for the Bulldogs football team.  After graduating he spent six years calling Bulldogs athletics on the Mountain West Network.  A notable event during this time was calling a Fresno State/Air Force game featuring future #1 overall pick Paul Skenes.

A trumpet player in high school and college, Bentley was an All-American and DCI World Champion.

When not leading FPU Athletics’ events team, Bentley works as a House Tech for the Save Mart Center as well as the Official Scorer for the Fresno Grizzlies.
