Betsy Myers joined the FPU athletic training staff in August 2004 and has been the Director of Sports Medicine since June 2006.

She oversees the sports medicine department and has additional responsibilities as a valued member of the athletics administration team.

Myers graduated from Fresno Christian High School in 1997, then enrolled at Hope International University in Fullerton. She was a member of the volleyball team for each of her four years at both FCHS and HIU.

She earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Hope International in 2001 and returned to Fresno Christian as volleyball coach, athletic trainer and teacher. Betsy enrolled in the athletic training education program at Fresno State, completing a master's degree in kinesiology in 2004. While at Fresno State she worked with the football, volleyball, women’s soccer, track, and equestrian teams.

She and her husband Darren are active members of the The Well Community Church in Fresno. They have a son, Titus, born December 2008 and a daughter Shiloh, born June 2014.
