Betsy Myers joined the Fresno Pacific University Sports Medicine Staff in August 2004 and currently serves as Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine & Internal Operations. Since being named Director of Sports Medicine in 2006, she has played an integral role in the growth and development of the department, helping shape a comprehensive, student-athlete centered model of care.
Over the past two decades, Myers has been part of building a Sports Medicine program rooted in evidence-based practice, collaboration, and a commitment to serving student-athletes with excellence. The department has grown into a trusted resource within the university, focused on providing high-level healthcare that supports both performance and overall well-being.
In her administrative role, Myers contributes to the day-to-day leadership and operational direction of the athletics department, supporting areas such as internal operations, major projects, staff development, environmental design, camps, and the overall student-athlete experience. She works closely with coaches, staff, and campus partners to ensure alignment with the mission and values of the university.
Throughout her time at Fresno Pacific, Myers has valued the relationships built along the way - mentoring young professionals, investing in student-athletes, and walking alongside coaches and colleagues. She considers it a privilege to be part of their growth and development, both personally and professionally.
A graduate of Fresno Christian High School, Myers went on to attend Hope International University, where she was a four-year member of the volleyball program and earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. She later earned her master’s degree in kinesiology from Fresno State.
Myers and her husband, Darren, are active members of The Well Community Church in Fresno. Their faith has been a foundational part of their lives and her approach to leadership and service. They have two children, Titus and Shiloh.
