As a Redshirt Junior (2015) - Appeared in 32 games for the Sunbirds....scored 14 goals, dished out 25 assists and grabbed 34 steals.

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2014) - Had 24 goals, 19 assists and 41 steals…career-high four steals versus CSU San Bernardino (4/12)…scored a season-high three goals against Concordia (2/27) and Siena (3/15)…had season-high three assists versus La Verne (3/28) and Notre Dame College (3/16)…earned Second-Team GCC honors for her performance throughout the regular season.  

As a Redshirt Freshman (2013) - Had 13 goals, 10 assists and 22 steals…scored her first collegiate goal in the season opener against Azusa Pacific (1/19)…had two goals, one assist and two steals against CSUSB (1/26) then again against Santa Clara (2.2).

As a Freshman (2012) - Took a redshirt season. 

Prior to FPU - Played four years of water polo at San Joaquin Memorial High School, including three on varsity for coach Kristi Rose....as a senior she was named CMAC League MVP, as well as All-League, All-Valley and team MVP....as a junior she was named the team's defensive player of the year and earned All-League honors....best single-game performance was eight goals....also swam all four years of high school.

Personal - Daughter of Leonel and Sylvia.....has one sister, Jessica....chose FPU for the Christian atmosphere and proximity to family....the person she most admires is her dad....favorite food is her mom's green enchiladas....favorite TV show is the Big Bang Theory....favorite book is "Nefertiti" by Michelle Moran....favorite musical artist and person she'd most like to meet is Skrillex....pre-game ritual is listening to dub-step....fan of Stanford football....favorite athlete is water polo player Brenda Villa....hobbies include snow-skiing, waterskiiing, photography, traveling and watching movies/shows with former teammate Sam Clark....Nia is a kinesiology major.
