Sunbird Notes - Serves as the SAAC secretary...also a member of the track & field team at FPU...has been named Most Improved and Sunbird of the Year for the track team.

As a Junior (2015) - PacWest Scholar Athlete....Academic All-PacWest....appeared in 25 matches, making 21 starts for the Sunbirds....posted 204 kills (2.29 per set) and a .291 attack percentage on the season....finished second on the team with 63 blocks (0.71 per set)....also recorded 68 digs and seven service aces....posted a season-high 16 kills to zero errors against Dixie State (10/21)....racked up 12 kills, five blocks and three digs vs. Notre Dame de Namur (10/1)....posted 10 kills and a .526 attack percentage in a win over Dominican (10/10).

As a Sophomore (2014) - Appeared in eight matches, making one start for the Sunbirds....recorded 14 kills, five digs and four blocks on the year....PacWest Scholar Athlete.

As a Freshman (2013) - Appeared in seven matches, making one start for the Sunbirds....recorded 10 kills and five blocks on the season....recorded four kills while playing all five sets in victory at Holy Names on Nov. 9.

Prior to FPU - A three-sport star at Clovis High, Lowe spent four years on the varsity volleyball team under coach Richard Lake and was named the school's female athlete of the year as a senior after becoming the first athlete in school history to receive three Sassano Blanket awards (given to the top senior in each sport).....first-team All-TRAC selection in basketball....ESPN 940 student-athlete of the year....also garnered numerous scholar-athlete awards....she also spent four years on the varsity track & field team under coach Bill Buettner....qualified for the Valley championships in the high jump four times.

Personal - Parents are John Lowe and Jennifer Westman....has three siblings: Joshua, Hunter, and Calie....chose FPU for the Christian environment and small school feel, as well as to stay close to family....person she most admires her Grandma Jackie....favorite food is orange chicken....favorite movie is The Dark Knight....friend on another PacWest team is Rachael Smith (Academy of Art)....favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers....her favorite athlete is Olympian Jenna Prandini....Montana is a business management major.
