2013 - Redshirt

As a Junior (2012) - Earned Pacific West Conference Newcomer of the Year, NCCAA All-West Region and second team All-PacWest honors while making 30 starts and playing in 105 sets for the Sunbirds...led the team in blocks with 129 and in attack percentage (.308)...finished third on the team in kills (250) and service aces (26)....recorded five or more blocks 16 different times....had an attack percentage above .300 14 times and above .400 11 times....recorded season-high 10 blocks to go with 10 kills vs. Seattle Pacific (9/1)....had nine blocks apiece in wins over Hawaii Pacific (9/2) and Azusa Pacific (9/21)....had a season-high .727 attack percentage in win at Point Loma (11/3)...posted season-high 17 kills on .455 hitting in win over Academy of Art (10/13)....had 14 kills and hit .480 in win at Azusa Pacific (9/21)....had 14 kills at Fresno State (9/25)....was co-winner of the team's Offensive Player of the Year award....earned FPU Athletics' highest annual honor after the season, being named Sunbird of the Year.

As a Sophomore (2011) - Earned 1st Team NAIA All-American and All-GSAC honors while starting all 30 matches for the Sunbirds....finished with 359 kills (3.23 p/s) and led the team with a .332 attack percentage....also led the team in service aces (34) and blocks (109)....had a season-high 16 digs and nine blocks to go with 14 kills in win at Point Loma Nazarene (9/17)....recorded season-high 20 kills in win at The Master's (9/27) and had 19 kills the next night in win over Notre Dame de Namur....had a .607 hitting percentage and 17 kills in win over Kansas Wesleyan (9/3)....was dominant in win over Fresno State (11/16), finishing with 16 kills and a .609 attack percentage.

As a Freshman (2010) - Played her way into a starting middle blocker spot for the national champion Sunbirds....appeared in 34 matches and 109 sets, recording 123 kills, 109 blocks, 36 assists and 14 digs....her 109 blocks (0.97 per set) was second on the team....Recorded a season-high 9 kills in win vs. Hope International (9/21)....had a season-best 7 blocks vs. top-5 opponent Texas-Brownsville (10/29)....had 10 games with five or more blocks....played through injuries at the national tournament, giving the team the presence it needed in the middle to win the title....After the season, Anderson was honored as the team's co-Most Improved Player and later as the athletic department's co-Freshman of the Year.

Prior to FPU - Played four years at Lemoore High School, earning three varsity letters for coach Kim Rix....She was named Team MVP, League MVP and First Team All-Valley, while leading her team to a league title playing middle blocker....Also played basketball.

Personal - Parents are David and Laurie....Has two sisters, Haley and Christa....Her dad played basketball at UC Davis....People she most admires are Kim Zuffelato and FPU director of sports medicine Betsy Myers....Favorite musical artist is Taylor Swift....Favorite athlete is Kerri Walsh....Hobbies include wakesurfing and hanging out with the McCann family....Attends The Well Community Church....Kathleen is a Pre-Physical Therapy major with plans of becoming a physical therapist.
