Personal - Karlie was born in Fresno, but calls Sanger, CA her home...Her parents are Steve and Cathi Houston...She is the youngest of three siblings...Her favorite foods are mashed potatoes and sour candy...She enjoys classic rock music...Her hobbies include snowboarding, wake-boarding, camping, napping and reading...She has not yet decided on a major.
Prior to FPU - Karlie is a graduate of Sanger High School...Her volleyball coach was Lyle Tashiro...She was first-team All-League for three years, and was the 2006 League MVP...In addition to volleyball, she also competed in track...She played club volleyball with Red Wave Extreme for two years...Her coach was Matt Terra...Karlie transfered to FPU from Fresno State.
