Shasta Millhollin

Shasta Millhollin became the seventh head volleyball coach in program history in April of 2019. Millhollin had spent the previous four seasons as the head coach at William Jessup University, where she served in multiple roles and is the winningest coach in program history.

After inheriting a program that went 1-25 the previous season, Millhollin led the Warriors to a total of 17 wins over her first two seasons. WJU continued to reach new heights over the next two years, setting a single-season program record with 18 wins in 2017 before tallying a record number of Golden State Athletic Conference victories the following fall.

In 2017, the Warriors landed their first-ever player on a GSAC All-Conference team. Away from the court, WJU saw a total of 10 GSAC and NAIA Scholar-Athletes under Millhollin's leadership for their outstanding performance in the classroom, achieving a cumulative 3.5-grade point average or higher.

Prior to her time at William Jessup, Millhollin worked as a graduate assistant coach at Arizona State University. A highly successful club coach in Arizona and California, Millhollin has led five teams to top-10 national rankings, and was named the East Valley Region Coach of the Year in 2010.

As a player, Millhollin was the starting setter at Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs and later Solano Community College in Fairfield, where she became the career leader in assists for the Bay Valley Conference. Millhollin completed her collegiate career at Notre Dame de Namur University, where she was voted the PacWest Conference Female Athlete of the Year.

Millhollin received her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from NDNU before going on to earn her Master's in Secondary Education from ASU.
