Rob Beard joined the FPU volleyball coaching staff prior to the 2016 season. He brings more than five years of experience at the collegiate level to the Sunbird staff.
Beard came to FPU from Fresno City College, where he served as an assistant from 2012-2016. He helped lead the Rams to five straight CVC championships.
He also serves as a boy's assistant at Clovis West High School, as Beard joined the staff in 2013. Outside of volleyball, he serves as the staff development liaison at the Fresno EOC.
Beard graduated from Pierce College in 1993.
