Kailey Allen joined the FPU staff in October 2013 after serving in a part-time role since 2012. She helps oversee compliance and academic support for FPU student-athletes and is also an assistant on the FPU women’s volleyball coaching staff.

Allen spent two years on the FPU volleyball team after transferring from College of the Sequoias. An outspoken team leader for the Sunbirds, she recorded 429 digs in two seasons as a defensive specialist. Her junior year she spearheaded a Sunbird rally in a come-from-behind victory over Fresno State. As a senior she helped lead the team to a 28-4 record in the program’s first season of NCAA Division II competition.

A native of Visalia, Allen was an all-state player at Golden West High School before going on to earn all-conference honors as a libero at COS.

She graduated from FPU in 2013 with a degree in kinesiology and is currently working toward her master’s in kinesiology.
