Braden Clarke joined the Sunbirds Volleyball Staff ahead of the 2026 season in a dual role as both Technical Operations Coordinator and Assistant Coach.

Clarke was a member of the Fresno State men's club volleyball team from 2019-2020, where the Bulldogs placed 9th in the nation. Before his career at Fresno State, the Clovis native was a 3x valley champion at Buchanan High School for the men's volleyball team.

Clarke’s coaching career began right out of high school when he spent one year at Clovis East coaching girls volleyball followed by five years at Clovis West coaching the boys team to a Valley Championship.  Clarke is currently head boy’s coach at Clovis South and led the program to a 2nd place TRAC finish in their first year as a program.

In addition to his roles at CSHS and FPU, Clarke has spent three years coaching at Valley Volleyball Academy, where he is also the former director of boy’s club volleyball.
