As a Junior (2013) - Appeared in four matches for the Sunbirds, including all five sets of a win at Holy Names on 11/9....recorded five digs in win over Notre Dame de Namur (10/19)....received NCCAA Scholar-Athlete honors.

As a Sophomore (2012) - Saw action in five different matches for the Sunbirds, including national tournament win over Oakland City (11/29)....recorded two digs in win vs. Dominican (10/26)....was co-winner of the team's Most Improved award.

Prior to FPU - Played three years of volleyball at Clovis West High School under FPU alum coach Rhonda DeRuiter.....received the coach's award and the "golden arm"....also competed in cross country and track & field.

Personal - Person she most admires is her mother Kimberly Arentz....has one sister, Christine.....favorite band is Beach House....favorite show is How I Met Your Mother....best friend on another college team is Kristen Bridges (Sacramento State, Women's Soccer)....hobbies include reading, working out and drawing....attends Northside Christian Church....Alyse is a kinesiology (exercise science) major with plans of becoming a personal trainer.
