Prior to FPU - Played for Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences where she won the Swedish Division I championship....Played for Fryshusets Gymnasium in high school.
Personal - Born July 31, 1990....parents are Mari Werner and Ove Ackered....has one brother, Carl....chose FPU for the storied tennis programs and the sense of community....favorite type of food is her mom's....listens to swedish artist Lars Winnerback....is a fan of the swedish soccer club Hammarby....favorite athlete is Serena Williams....Matilda is a Kinesiology major and plans to become a tennis coach.
