Alessa Maier joined coach Sam Gaeddert's staff in 2024.
The Hechingen, Germany native was an elite Division II student-athlete at Texas A&M-Kingsville, where she became one of the most decorated tennis players in the school's history. She earned All-American honors, was named the ITA South Central Region Senior of the Year and the ITA Most Improved Player in 2024, and won the ITA South Central Regional Championship in singles. Her impressive collegiate career saw her ranked as high as No. 6 in the nation in singles and No. 12 in doubles.
Maier graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and is pursuing her master’s degree in Business Administration from Fresno Pacific.
