As a Junior (2012) - Appeared in all 17 games, making nine starts as a defender and midfielder....contributed to one of the league's top defenses, helping the team post six shutouts on the year....took 16 shots, seven on goal...scored a goal vs. Dominican (10/10)...had an assist at Notre Dame de Namur (11/3).

As a Sophomore (2011) - One of the top players on defense for the Sunbirds, started all 13 games she appeared in.....scored a goal in win over Menlo (9/9)....took 11 shots and four shots on goal on the season.

As a Freshman (2010)- Played in 15 matches while making eight starts, primarily as a defender in her first year with the Sunbirds….scored her first collegiate goal at #3 Azusa Pacific (10/26)…..recorded a key assist in 3-2 win at Hope International (9/25).

Prior to FPU- Played four years of varsity soccer at Golden West High School for coach Manuel Cotta....Earned first team all-county, first team all-league and high school All-American honors as a senior....Named first team all-league as a junior....Made the varsity team as a freshman and helped that team win a league title....Also played two years of track & field.

Personal- Born June 30, 1992....Parents are Mark and Lori....Has a brother Luke and a sister Kelsey....People she most admires are her parents....Favorite food is Mexican....Favorite TV show is George Lopez....Has a pregame ritual of putting red tape on just her left leg....Favorite teams are Manchester United and Brazil....Favorite athlete is Landon Donovan....Attends Grace Community church....Favorite hobby is reading a good book....Sara is a Business Management major.
