Terry Stewart joined the FPU staff in 2015 after spending two seasons as an assistant at Southwest Baptist University in Missouri. In two seasons at SBU he assisted head coach Rob Podeyn in leading the Bearcats to back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances and a 30-10-3 record during that span.
A native of Newcastle, England, Stewart played four years of soccer at St. Edwards University in Texas. He was a two-time all-conference selection and earned Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2011. He then spent two seasons at St. Edward's as a volunteer assistant coach.
Stewart holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and a masters in athletic administration.
