Morgan Lark

  • Title
    Goalkeeper Coach
Morgan Lark joined Coach Roberto Hernandez’s staff in the fall of 2024.

Lark brings a wealth of playing experience to the coaching staff.  She played collegiately for NCAA Division I Cal State Fullerton where she won two Big West championships and three Big West Tournament championships.  She was named Big West Goalkeeper of the Year and Big West Tournament MVP, both in 2017.

From 2018 – 2020, Lark played professionally.  She spent one season playing for Vlatko Andonovski’s Seattle Reign of the NWSL, before heading overseas to play for SC Braga in Portugal.  She helped her club to a Liga BPI championship before moving to FC Lugano.  While playing for the Swiss side, most notably she competed in the UEFA Champions League against Manchester City.  Injuries would end her playing career, so she shifted her focus toward coaching.

In her first season as goalkeeper coach at FPU, GK Monique Nevarez set a new single-season school record in clean sheets (7) and the team's defense saw a significant improvement allowing just 17 goals all season compared to the prior season's 49.

Additionally, Lark and her husband created LAB Football, providing private and small group training to all ages and levels in the Central Valley.
