Prior to FPU - Played four years of varsity basketball at Pinnacle High School in Arizona under coach Troy Wiese....was named the team's defensive player of the year three times....team captain....selected to Arizona coaches' association all-star game.
Personal - Daughter of Ron and Cori Bender....has one brother, Drew, who plays basketball at Northern Colorado....chose FPU for the coaching staff and because the campus felt like home....person she admires most is her mom....favorite food is Mexican....favorite musician is Ed Sheeran....favorite team is the LA Lakers and favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant....person she'd most like to meet is Michael Jordan....hobbies include singing and dancing....Danielle is undecided on a major.
