As a Senior (2021) - competed in the hammer throw... came in second place (3/20) with a distance of 161' 11"... maintained her place on the leader board throughout the season... finished the season second in the PacWest...
2020 Season Canceled due to COVID-19
As a Junior (2019) – scored points for FPU at the PacWest Championships in each of the throwing events she competed in (shot put, discus and hammer)….recorded lifetime bests in the hammer (46.83m – Mike Fanelli Track Classic) and shot put (12.28m – Cal Poly ShareSLO Invitational)….marked a season-best 39.69m in the discus at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic.
As a Sophomore (2018) – key contributor for the Sunbird Throwing team, her season highlights included marking a career best 42.36m in the hammer at the PacWest Championships to score for FPU, recording a career best 12.26m in the shot put at the Kim Duyst Invitational and launching a season-best 39.31m (discus) at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite.
As a Freshman (2017) - at the PacWest Championships, took fourth in the discus with a throw of 40.16m….finished fifth in the discus (38.32m) at the Rossi Relays….took first in discus at the Westmont Sunshine Open with a 35.95m hurl.
Prior to FPU - Competed on the track & field team at Sanger High School.
Personal - Daughter of Albert Moreno and Tiffany Martinez...favorite food is dried pineapple...enjoys watching the Marvel series movies...roots for the New York Giants...Klaryssa is a history major.
