Biography
As a Senior (2021) - Member of the Sunbird Track & Field Team
2020 Season Canceled due to COVID-19
As a Junior (2019) – recorded a season-best 2:27.59 in the 800m race at the Hornet Invitational….followed that up with a season-best 4:52.71 in the 1500m at the Cal Poly ShareSLO Invitational, just a nudge above her career best mark in the event.
As a Sophomore (2018) – as a member of the FPU Distance Squad, she ran in the 800m and 1500m races during the season….turned in a career best 4:51.65 in the 1500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational (4/19-20).
As a Freshman (2017) - at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, logged a season-best time of 4:54.64 in the 1500m, moving her to eighth in FPU’s all-time record book….finished with a time of 4:56.15 in the 1500m run at the Bulldog Invitational….took second in the 4x800 at the Rossi Relays with a time of 9:49.97.
Sunbird Notes - Also a member of the women's cross country team.
Prior to FPU - Spent four years on the varsity track & field and cross country team at Redwood High School under head coach Joe Gonzales....West Yosemite League MVP in cross country....also competed on the soccer team.
Personal - Daughter of Ninfa and Daniel Guerrero, who both ran cross country in college....has two brothers....person she most admires is Brenda Martinez....favorite tv show is The Walking Dead....likes to pray as a pregame ritual....loves eating cheesecake....person she would most like to meet is Beyonce....attends St. Marys Church....Brianna is a pre-med major.
