As a Junior (2016-17) - CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention Team….at the PCSC Championships, took second in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 9:29.82, good for third best in program history….also swam to a sixth place finish in the 500 free with a season-best time of 4:36.61 and a fourth place finish in the 200 fly with a time of 1:49.76, good for fourth fastest in program history….in dual-meet competition against CSU Bakersfield, won the 1000 freestyle event (9:48.01) and took second in the 500 free (4:48.46).

Prior to FPU - Spent two years at the New Jersey Institute of Technology swimming for head coach Michael Lawson....two-time ECAC Winter Champion in the 200 butterfly....prior to that, swam for four years at Paso Robles High School, including three years on varsity under head coach Jennifer Brown....Team MVP....Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year....also competed on the varsity water polo team for three years.

Personal - Son of Ed and Juana Moore....has three siblings: Lauren, Austin and Morgan....twin brother Morgan swims for Cal Poly SLO....greatest sports thrill thus far was breaking a minute in the 100 yard butterfly for the first time....likes to watch Game of Thrones....loves eating tri-tip....person he would most like to meet is Eddie Reese....hobbies include camping and playing board games....Collin is a physical education teaching major who plans on becoming a swim coach.
