Prior to FPU- Played five years at St. Kentigern for coach Nikki Ingoe, lettering in swimming and water polo....Played on the New Zealand Junior Men's Team and the national under-16 development squad....Named high school player of the year after scoring 79 goals in 23 games....Had one of his best performances playing against team USA with the junior men's team....Also played soccer.
Personal- Born January 18, 1991....Parents are Stewart and Nicola....Has one sibling, Claudia....Greatest sports thrill thus far has been getting to travel to Serbia, Italy and Hungary to play water polo....Person he most admires is his grandfather Laurie....Favorite food is sandwiches....Favorite book is Open by Andre Agassi....Favorite sports team is New Zealand Rugby's All Blacks....Favorite athletes are Mike Tyson and pro water polo player Vanja Udovicic....Hobbies include cooking, travel and rugby....Oliver, who goes by "Olly", is undeclared but plans to attend law school and become a sports lawyer.
