Biography
As a Sophomore (2015) - ACWPC All-Academic Team....WWPA All-Academic Team....appeared in all 27 games for the Sunbirds....finished second on the team in assists with 40....also recorded nine goals, 15 steals and five blocks on the season....dished out season high four assists and picked up two steals vs. St. Francis (10/24)....tallied three assists and a steal in the win over Pomona (10/3)....scored a goal and dished out two assists in the victory against La Verne (10/9)....recorded one goal and three assists vs. UC Davis (10/30).
As a Freshman (2014) - ACWPC All-Academic Team....appeared in 21 games for the Sunbirds....scored five goals, dished out 11 assists, forced five turnovers and picked up 11 steals on the season....scored a goal, forced a turnover and grabbed two steals in the win over Occidental (9/6)....netted a goal, tallied a pair of assists and recorded a steal in the win vs. Delta (10/11)....scored two goals and dished out three assists vs. Air Force (11/1).
Prior to FPU - Played three seasons of varsity water polo at Buchanan High School for head coach Nic Maes...member of back-to-back CIF Valley Champion teams...named Team Captain and an Outstanding Performer.
Personal - Parents are Michael and Andrea...has three sisters named Kim, Karen and Anna, and two brothers named Andrew and Ben...the person he admires the most is his father...favorite movie is Billy Madison...roots for the New York Yankees and the Green Bay Packers...hobbies include hunting and fishing...Erik is a kinesiology major.
