As a Junior (2014) - ACWPC Division II All-American First Team...All-WWPA Second Team...Two-time WWPA Player of the Week (10/8, 10/23).

As a Sophomore (2013) - Named to the ACWPC Division II All-American Team…was the team leader in goals scored (51), second on the team with 17 assists in addition to having 19 steals…had five goals against George Washington (10/5)…scored five goals and had four assists against Concordia (10/26). 

As a Freshman (2012) - Seymour had 61 goals during his freshman campaign (second on the team) in which the power lefty had a .489 goal percentage... finished second on the team in steals (24) and third in assists (10).... recorded a season-high six goals in back-to-back games against American River (9/8).

Prior to FPU- Played three years of varsity water polo for coach Michael Ashe at El Dorado High School...named Most Inspirational...named Most Valuable Player and All-League Second Team his junior and senior seasons...named team captain his senior season...had over 100 goals his senior season...scored 10 goals against Fullerton High School for a season high.

Personal- Parents are Mike Seymour and Julie Jackson...has two brothers Michael and David...chose FPU for the close knit community...greatest sports thrill in his career has been beating California Baptist in double overtime with a golden goal...favorite TV show The Big Bang Theory...enjoys listening to various genres of music (hip-hop, dubstep, hard rock and relaxing alternative)...roots for the Los Angeles Lakers...favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant...pregame ritual includes listening to music and visualizing the game...hobbies include eating, playing video games and working out...Daniel is a kinesiology major and hopes to play professionally following his collegiate career and pursue a career in physical therapy.
