Biography

As a Junior (2016) - Appeared in eight games for the Sunbirds....made his first career start in a 2-1 win over Hawai'i Hilo (11/3)....Academic All-PacWest selection. 

As a Sophomore (2015) - Appeared in three games and totaled 48 minutes for the Sunbirds....dished out three assists in wins over Dominican, Holy Names, and Concordia.

As a Freshman (2014) - Appeared in four games for the Sunbirds....took three shots, including one on frame. 

Prior to FPU - Attended Colegio Salesiano de Leon XIII in Bogotá, Colombia.

Personal - Parents are Alonso Acero Acosta and Angelica Riano Parra...chose FPU for the academics and the university as a whole, as well as the soccer program...favorite movie is The Fast and the Furious....enjoys reading "100 Years of Solitude"...pregame ritual is to pray...favorite sports team is Real Madrid and his favorite athlete is James Rodriguez...hobbies include going to the gym and playing PS3...Sebastian is a business administration major.
