As a Redshirt Junior (2018) - Appeared in four games for Fresno Pacific. 

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2017) - Appeared in one game for Fresno Pacific. 

As a Redshirt Freshman (2016) - Appeared in two games for Fresno Pacific. 

As a Freshman (2015) - Redshirted for the Sunbirds.

Prior to FPU - Attended Bishop Alemany High School, where he played for head coach Cruz Hernandez.

Personal - Son of Mark and Berta Cruz....has one sister named Arianna...his greatest sports thrill thus far is scoring the winning goal in a national cup game...person he most admires is his grandma....enjoys eating sushi....book of choice is "The Enemy"...favorite movie is Anchorman....person he would most like to meet is his favorite athlete, David Villa....roots for FC Barcelona....friend on another college team is Justin Kantchev....favorite musical artist is Chance the Rapper....attends Our Lady of Perpetual Help...Mark is an applied mathematics major.
