Biography

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2017) - Appeared in 18 games for the Sunbirds, making three starts....earned the overtime game-winner in the season-opener against Stanislaus State (8/31)....picked up assists against Concordia (9/30) and Notre Dame de Namur (10/4)....served as team captain....Academic All-PacWest selection.

As a Redshirt Freshman (2016) - Appeared in 12 games for FPU, making four starts....Academic All-PacWest selection. 

As a Freshman (2015) - Redshirted for the Sunbirds. 

Prior to FPU - Spent three years on the varsity team at Edison High School under head coach Femi Olukani....two-time team MVP....named to the All-Valley team.

Personal - Son of Ken and Fran Friesen....has two siblings: Daniel and Lan....chose FPU because he grew up around the school and wanted to be a part of the men's soccer program....favorite musical artist is Kendrick Lamar....roots for Liverpool F.C....enjoys watching Friends and The Office....favorite athlete is Steven Gerrard....his good friend, Samuel Martin, plays soccer at Westmont....hobbies include ping-pong and creative writing....attends Mennonite Community Church....Loren is a psychology major.
