As a Redshirt Junior (2017) - Recorded an assist in the season-opening win over Stanislaus State (8/31).

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2016) - Appeared in 17 games for the Sunbirds, including 16 starts....logged more than 1400 minutes....scored a goal in the season opener against Stanislaus State (9/1)....contributed a goal in the team's 4-2 win over Academy of Art (10/19).

As a Redshirt Freshman (2015) - Appeared in 16 games for the Sunbirds....provided a spark off the bench in the midfield....scored two goals and dished out one assist....netted the game-winning goal vs. Dominican (10/7)....contributed a goal in FPU's 4-0 shutout victory over Chaminade (9/26).

As a Freshman (2014) - Redshirted for the Sunbirds.  

Prior to FPU - Played four seasons of varsity soccer at Fresno High School...scored 22 goals and dished out nine assists...member of the Warriors' first-ever Valley championship team...named the team's offensive MVP his senior season...also played varsity football and track for the Warriors.

Personal - Parents are Theresa and Rene Asencio...has two brothers and one sister...favorite food is pancakes...roots for Real Madrid and his favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo...Isaiah is a kinesiology major with an emphasis in fitness management.
