Ryan Kenny joined Coach Cameron Shahrokhi’s staff in spring of 2025.
A Fresno native and FPU alumnus, Kenny joins the FPU Men’s soccer staff with a passion to see goalkeepers developed into leaders on and off the field.
Kenny played collegiately for NCAA Division I programs UC Santa Barbara and Sacramento State, professionally with Rochester Rhinos of the USL and Fresno Fuego of the PDL, and was a training goalkeeper with Real Salt Lake of the MLS. Kenny’s experience lends to understanding the unique challenges of a college athlete. Kenny also has professional coaching experience with former USL Championship side Fresno FC, and can relate to and develop players with their future in mind, whether it be continuing their soccer career or adapting their experience to a meaningful vocation.
Kenny resides in the Fresno area with his wife Katelyn and their two daughters. He is also the Lead Pastor of Midtown Vineyard Church in Fresno’s Tower District.
