Biography

As a Junior (2018) - Made 13 appearances for the Sunbirds, including a pair of starts....tallied first career assist against UC Santa Cruz (9/15)....scored a goal against Academy of Art (9/17)....credited with the game-winner in 4-3 victory over NDNU (10/12)....assisted FPU's lone goal against Azusa Pacific (10/18)....found the back of the net in 3-1 victory over Dominican (10/27).

As a Sophomore (2017) - Appeared in 11 games for the Sunbirds, including seven starts....scored first career goal in FPU's 4-2 victory over Dominican (9/21)....scored a goal in 7-2 road win over Holy Names (10/9).

As a Freshman (2016) - Appeared in 13 games for the Sunbirds....took two shots....helped FPU to deliver two shutouts. 

Prior to FPU: Prepped under head coach Santiago Aguilar at Clovis East High School....named Most Offensive Player of the Year.

Personal: Parents are Rogelio Leyva and Maria Ocampo....has one sister, Melanie....has wanted to attend FPU since attending soccer camps here at a young age....most admires his father....favorite sports team is Real Madrid....favorite athlete is Ronaldinho....majoring in kinesiology.
