As a Junior (2014) - All-PacWest Second Team.

As a Sophomore (2013) - All-PacWest Second Team....started in 15 of his 21 appearances for the PacWest and NCCAA West Region Champion Sunbirds....totaled nine goals and eight assists, good for 26 points, in 1,199 minutes....scored twice in the NCCAA West Region Championship win over Bethesda....scored a goal and dished out two assists in a win over Notre Dame de Namur....scored once and tallied an assist in wins over Point Loma and Holy Names.

As a Freshman (2012) - PacWest Freshman of the Year...All-PacWest First Team...NCCAA All-Tournament...was a vital part in one of the nation's most powerful offensive attacks recording 15 goals and 16 assists in his first season as a Sunbird, good for the second most points on the team behind All-American Paul Islas....played in all 23 matches for FPU, starting 17....recorded his first career hat-trick in an 8-0 win over Holy Names (10/6)....had three multi-goal games, second most on the team....scored multiple goals against Chaminade (9/29), Holy Names (10/6) and Azusa Pacific (10/18)....had multiple-assist games in wins over Cal State San Marcos, Point Loma and in the West Region playoffs vs. Trinity Lutheran.

Prior to FPU - Played for U.D. Fuengirola los Boliches in Malaga, Spain.

Personal - Parents are Fernando and Marija Nogales...has one brother named Fernando...chose FPU because of the quality soccer program...roots for Real Madrid...favorite athlete is soccer player Zinedine Zidane...Alvaro is a business major and hopes to work in soccer in the future.
