As a Freshman (2015) - Appeared in four games as goalie for the Sunbirds and recorded a total of 12 saves....blocked four shots in shutout victory over Chaminade (9/26)....recorded six saves in win against Westmont (9/19)....tallied a pair of saves to earn the win against Hawaii Hilo (9/28).

Prior to FPU - Prepped at Sanger High School under head coach Matt Maglic....named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2013.

Personal - Parents are Ross and Maria Guillen....chose FPU for the coaching staff and the opportunity to continue to play soccer....greatest sports thrill in his career has been playing in the U.S. Club Soccer National Cup....favorite movie is Hercules...enjoys reading "The Iliad"....his good friend, Luis Najera, plays for Cal Poly Pomona....roots for Barcelona....listens to Luke Bryan....favorite athlete is Ronda Rousey....person he would most like to meet is Iker Casillas....enjoys eating sushi....enjoys deep sea fishing as a hobby....attends St. Mary's church....Alex is a criminal justice and psychology major and plans to work in the penitentiary system.
