As a Freshman (2015-16) - PacWest Freshman of the Week (11/23 and 1/4)….appeared in 17 games, making four starts for the Sunbirds….battled injury in the latter half of the season, but still managed to rack up 55 points, 31 assists, and 17 rebounds total….recorded 11 points on 3-4 FG shooting and went 2-3 from beyond the arc in the win vs. Stanislaus State (11/28)….dished out nine assists, scored seven points, and grabbed three rebounds in the victory over Cal Maritime (11/21)….tallied 11 points and five assists in the win vs. Life Pacific (1/2).

Prior to FPU - Spent four seasons on the varsity team at Santa Cruz High School under head coach Lawan Millhouse....averaged 14.8 points, 4.7 assists, 8.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game...named Team MVP and earned the Mr. Hustle Award....three-time member of the All-League First Team, two-time All-State nominee....two-time league champion.

Personal - Son of Norman Hutchings and Lynn Cantrell....has two siblings named Jevon Hutchings and Nick Vargas....chose Fresno Pacific because of the friendly community and welcoming atmosphere....enjoys eating pizza....favorite movie is Straight Outta Compton....roots for the Dallas Cowboys....likes to play video games....favorite athletes are Kevin Garnett and Russell Westbrook....Kiree is a kinesiology major with plans on becoming an athletic trainer or a physical therapist.
